Afternoon Tour: Dart River followed by Dinner at a local Winery
Date: Friday, 22 February 2008
Time: 1200 – 2200 hours
Additional Tickets: NZD $488.00 per person

This event will be the highlight of your stay during the Conference. Today you will experience some of the most beautiful and scenic areas in New Zealand.

The afternoon will begin with a jet boat ride along the Dart River amongst towering mountains and the refreshingly beautiful wilderness of the Mt Aspiring National Park. From there a short, easy nature walk will be taken through ancient forests, unchanged for 80 million years.

Finally, you will board your back road vehicle for a journey to Paradise and beyond. This experience will allow time to explore a region filled with spectacular vistas which have inspired many talented film makers to bring their projects to this area, including the box office hit, Lord of the Rings.

Following the Dart River Safari experience, guests will be transferred via coach to a local Winery for a late afternoon and evening of fine New Zealand food and wine.

* Please note that coaches will depart Millbrook Resort promptly at 1200 midday and that lunch will be provided as a part of this tour.

Gala Dinner at Walter Peak High Country Farm
Date: Saturday, 23 February 2008
Time: 1900 - 0000 hours
Additional Tickets: NZD $270.00 per person

In the evening and following the conclusion of the Conference, delegates will be transferred by coach to Lake Wakatipu where they will board the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw. The historic steamship will depart on a 45 minute transfer across the lake, giving you the chance to experience the grandeur of a bygone era while taking in the amazing scenery.

Walter Peak High Country Farm, on the western shores of beautiful Lake Wakatipu, will provide an opportunity to relax and experience New Zealand high country life. A delicious high country buffet style carvery menu will be served in the homestead while the resident pianist entertains. During the course of the evening, guests will be invited to experience elements of the Country Farm.
